In January 2021, we launched a global fan page on Instagram to support the korean indie band ode overseas.
A few months later we created an Instagram group to organize events and show our support from abroad.
From album orders and story chains to recording birthday messages, taking on challenges, and even singing the chorus of a song - our beloved diana, dedicated to all the fans. We always found a reason to have fun, all thanks to ode's music.
So, why not give our Instagram group a name? At the end of September 2021, we started collecting suggestions and held a vote through Instagram stories.
On October 7, 2021, the results were in: PURPLES was the most-voted name.
Purple, the color that represented the band, made it the perfect choice and finally took the name of the fandom, where everyone is always welcome.
